Who we are

This website is run by the Park Road Lido User Group (PRLUG). The group exists to celebrate those who swim at the Lido, to raise the profile and encourage active membership of the swimmer community. We campaign for improvements in all aspects of the lido including cleaning, the range of facilities on offer, opening hours and admission/membership fees.

Our relationship with Park Road Leisure Centre & Lido and Haringey Council

Park Road Lido is part of Park Road Leisure Centre & Lido, which is owned and operated by Haringey Council. See the centre’s website for further information.

In May 2018, PRLUG was “formally recognised as a consultation body representing the views of Park Road Lido users when changes to the lido or issues at the lido arise”.

Since then, PRLUG representatives have communicated with and met regularly with the centre’s management and with Haringey Council. Until October 2024, those meetings also included Fusion Lifestyle — a professional leisure centre operator that runs a number of sites across London and the south of England — who previously ran the centre under a long lease from the council.

Meetings with the council are currently held monthly. Minutes are published on this website.
